Nominations are now open for the forthcoming elections to LCER's Executive.
Deadline for nominations: 20 November 2019.
Our elections are held on the basis of self-nomination - you don't need to find a proposer and seconder. You must be a paid-up member of both LCER and the Labour Party to stand for election.
The Executive meets 4-6 times per year, usually in Westminster; members not living within easy reach of London can join via an internet video link.
The LCER Executive is a "working" Executive. As well as attending meetings, our members contribute in a range of ways, according to their skills, by (for example) attending conferences and speaking engagements on behalf of LCER, producing promotional materials, liaising with the press, participating in policy development, and so on.
There are 12 elected positions on the Executive; elections are conducted via Single Transferable Vote.
To submit your nomination, please fill in the form below. You will need to confirm your membership of the Labour Party and LCER, and to provide a short statement in support of your nomination.
