LCER Discussion Events

LCER and Make Votes Matter are organising or supporting discussion and events around the country.  If you are attending or could come and help at a fringe or staff a LCER/MVM stall volunteer, we would like to hear from you or it you would like to be a speaker.  We are encouraging people to submit evidence, even if they have done so before, to the Justice and Home Affairs Commission which deals with electoral reform.

On Saturday, 24 February, 2.15 – 4 pm  LCER’s Maria Lacovou is speaking at South Suffolk’s discussion on Electoral Reform.  (Refreshments from 1.45 pm) at the Ansell Centre, Market Place, Hadleigh, Suffolk, IP7 5DL.  Chair:  David Plowman and contact Sue Thomas  at  for any more details.

Next Monday, 26 February, 7-9.30 pm, there is a meeting for Labour party members and others at the Richmond and Putney Unitarian Church, Ormond Road, Richmond, TW10 6TH.  Organised by the SW London Make Votes Matter and Compass it has the following speakers:  Ruth Cadbury MP, Chris Williamson MP, Frances Foley (Compass), Joe Sousek (LCER and MVM) and Katherine Dunne, Labour candidate in Twickenham in June 2017.

3 March, the AGM of the Campaign for Labour Party Democracy

9-11 March Scottish Labour Conference in Caird Hall, Dundee

17 March Labour North Regional Conference
