Following a change to Labour Party rules in 2021, CLPs and branches are prohibited from affiliating to any organisations, including LCER, without the prior permission of the NEC. We are currently applying for affiliation to the Labour Party as a Socialist Society, and when we achieve that, the situation may change. Until that time, we are regretfully unable to accept applications for affiliation from CLPs or branches.
