Our online subscriptions are taken by Direct Debit, and are managed by the merchant service GoCardless. Please choose this option if you can - it's quick, totally secure, and saves us a lot of time and money. Your direct debit subscription will show up on your bank statement as "GoCardless".
Members choose between a subscription that renews monthly or annually. You'll get an email reminder 14 days before your subscription is due to renew.
Direct debit is one of the most secure ways to pay a subscription. You don't have to share your any credit card details, and your payments are protected by the Direct Debit guarantee. The law states that we must notify you in advance before changing our subscription rates, and we're not allowed to take any payments that you haven't authorised. If a payment is taken that you didn't authorise, you're entitled to a refund.
You can't change or cancel a direct debit via our membership system. If you need to make any changes, please email us and we'll do it for you.
You can choose between several different subscription rates, according to your income. Choosing a higher subscription rate gives an important boost to our campaigns, but all our members get the same benefits regardless of how much they pay.
If you're not able to pay by direct debit for some reason, we also accept payments by BACS, card and cheque.
